This OR That Tag?

This tag has recently popped up on my YouTube Subscription page from Kalyn Nicholson and I also remember it a year or two back from other YouTubers so I thought it'll be a fun tag to do for you all to get to know me a bit more.

Make-Up
Blush or Bronzer?
Bronzer! My cheeks have a red tint to them, so I don't often wear blushers as my cheeks tint is just enough.
Lip gloss or Lipstick?
Lipstick! Lip gloss annoys me because my hair is forever sticking to it.
Eye liner or Mascara?
Mascara! I feel bare if I don't apply mascara and most days I would just use mascara and be done with my make-up.
Foundation or Concealer?
Foundation! It doubles up as a concealer with the more layers you apply.
Neutral or Color eye shadow?
Neutral all the way! I hardly ever where colored shadows but if I do it would be a dark purple.
Pressed or Loose eye shadows?
Pressed! Loose shadows just spill everywhere.
Brushes or Sponges?
I'm a brush girl. Like sponges can be nice for applying foundation but it sure won't do a nice eyeshadow look.

Nails
OPI or China Glaze?
I've never used any so I'll do Essie or Barry M. Barry M all the way, they're so easy found and amazing for such cheap prices.
Long or Short?
Short! Long nails bug the hell out of me... I'm a nail biter oops.
Acrylic or Natural?
Natural.
Bright or Dark?
Dark! I love a dark burgundy, purple and black on my nails which I usually opt for no matter what the season is.
Flower or No flower?
No flower, I'm a basic plain type of nail girl.

Body
Perfume or Body splash?
Perfume, I've never tried a body splash though so I'm biased.
Lotion or Body butter?
Body butter, I love the creamy texture rather than liquid like a lotion.
Body wash or Soap?
Body wash! Even though I always use soap to wash my body first then rinse and go over with a body wash.
Lush or Other bath company?
I've yet to try lush. But I love Soap & Glory the products are lovely.

Fashion
Jeans or Sweat pants?
I wear neither, simply because jeans aren't comfortable to me at all as they're not very flexible which irritates me and sweat pants look hella ratchet on me... Leggings all the way!
Long sleeve or Short?
It really just depends on the weather.
Dresses or Skirts?
Dresses, much more comfortable.
Stripes or Plaid?
Plaid, it's very pretty and a lovely design.
Flip flops or Sandals?
Sandals, I can't stand flip flops they give me blisters and annoy me when they flap around when I walk.
Scarves or Hats?
Scarves, I don't think hats suit me.
Studs or Dangly earrings?
Studs!
Necklaces or Bracelets?
Bracelets.
Heels or Flats?
Flats, heels just aren't worth the pain.
Cowboy boots or Riding boots?
Riding boots, they're much cuter.
Jacket or Hoodie?
Hoodie, jackets aren't comfortable for me.
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe
Never shopped at either. I live in the UK and these shops aren't common, I only find them in big popular shopping malls/streets.
Abercombie or Hollister?
Again never shopped at either.
Saks 5th or Nordstrom?
Oooo once again never shopped at either.

Hair
Curly or Straight?
Straight!
Bun or Ponytail?
I like both and wear my hair both the same amounts.
Bobby pins or Butterfly clips?
Bobby pins, who on earth still uses butterfly clips apart from children.
Hair spray or Gel?
Never use either to be honest but I'd pick hairspray.
Long or Short?
Long all the way! I can never have short hair.
Light or Dark?
I'm a brunette girl so dark.
Side sweep bangs or Full bangs?
Side sweep, full bangs are annoying.
Up or Down?
Down!

Random
Rain or Shine?
Rain, I love the sound and getting all snug indoors.
Summer or Winter?
Winter all the way! You can get warm much easier than you can cool down to be honest.
Fall or Spring?
Fall, everything about fall is fabulous.
Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate duhhh.
East Coast or West Coast?
I live in the UK so I'm gonna go with South East because that's where I live haha.

Christmas 2014

Hey my lovelies, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas with your loved ones and got what you wanted. I know I'm very late on this bandwagon, but hey better late than never right?! Personally I love posts and videos of what people got for Christmas and what they did for the day, I don't know why I just do. As do many people so I thought I'd do one, my first one on this blog yay.

This year I was determined to make this a better Christmas than 2013 as my parents were going through a messy break up and it just wasn't a relaxing or enjoyable time last year, it was awkward and depressing. Also on Christmas Day 2010 around 9-10am (I think) my granddad (dad's dad) passed away and I was ever so close with him it broke my family and I's hearts to pieces so Christmas is always a sad time for us regardless of what else we have going on.

I am very happy to say this Christmas was the best one in years I was at my parents house (yes they are back together in case you didn't read my best of 2014 post) with my boyfriend, my little sister and brother, my older brother, his girlfriend, my niece and my nan whom is the wife of my passing granddad. All we did was exchange gifts, unwrap gifts, eat, talk, laugh and have a lovely day. Then at 5pm my brother, his girlfriend and my niece took my nan home and then they went to my brother's girlfriend's sisters house. My mum ended falling asleep, then my dad and boyfriend decided to get drunk so I was left to put my little sister and brother up to bed. And then I ended up tidying and washing up from dinner which was A LOT of stuff to wash.

I also got spoilt from everyone, I was surprised at how much I got. So I'm going to get the stuff not needed to have pictures of out of the way. I got tons and tons of pair of socks, like literally enough to last me a whole month without needing to use old pairs or ones that have been washed. 4 sets of pajamas's, 3 pairs of slippers, fluffy dressing gown, leggings, Simple make-up wipes and some money. You can never have enough of those I just mentioned to be honest. I also got a plastic pot/bin of beauty stuff; such as small and big pads for make-up removal, Simple make-up wipes, stick on nail designs, Montague Jeunesse face masks, small cherry Yankee Candle, Tube of mini parma violet sweets (my fave) Also as on the cover image I got a Vaseline pot with 3 Vaseline lip balms in original, cocoa butter and aloe vera.

Below are pictures of the exciting stuff I got and at the very bottom there's a caption of what they all are.

(Soap and Glory The Perfect Ten Palette, Make-Up Revolution London Palette, Mac Rebel Lipstick, NO7 Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Liner Pencil, Zoella Eyes Make-Up Bag, Maybelline The Colossal Mascara, Mac Studio Sculpt Foundations, Benefit They're Real Mascara, The Porefessional, Hoola Bronzer, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Fragrance, Justin Bieber The Key Fragrance, Britney Spears Original and Limited Addition Fragrances. Merry Christmas Special Auntie Key Ring, Lauren Pen, Personalised Auntie Card Picture Frame, Pink and Silver Auntie Bracelet, Jon Richard Bracelet, White iPad Mini 1, Original Converse.)

I hope you liked this post and don't think I'm bragging because I'm not I love these posts and seeing what other people got or did Christmas Day. If you want a review on any of the stuff I got then leave a comment below or let me know on my social media. Thank you.

NEW CAMERA!

Woohoo, I am so pleased to tell you all that I finally have a camera for my blog, I have been using my iPhone 5 to take all my pictures which is why my pictures always looked crappy and I couldn't take the quality no longer it's awful for blog content. I'm a total noob at cameras but I didn't want just a basic digital camera I wanted it to be more decent and advanced. I did contemplate on getting the Canon EOS 600D as I've seen that a lot of bloggers and YouTubers use it for their images and videos and I loved the quality it produces but it's a bit too advanced for me as a first camera and it was out of the budget I set for my first camera. Obviously I'm no photographer I'm just a basic person who likes to take photo's but has not much knowledge of photography.. I will be learning more though for the quality of my blog.

What I was looking for is decent image and video quality and a flip/tilt-able viewfinder so if I were to take pictures of a make-up look on myself then I'd be able to see if I'm in frame and focus. The camera I got is the Sony Alpha a5000 Compact System Camera with 16-50 mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Zoom Lens in Black as I thought I wanted the camera to be able to fit in my bag nicely and isn't to big a bulky and I can take it anywhere easily. My boyfriend and I have set a goal of a certain amount of followers I have for my blog until I can buy a more advanced and expensive camera. Also the price of this camera was well in my price budget, I was happy to spend between £200 to £300 and this was £259. I also bought a 32 GB memory card for the camera, I'm gonna be taking a lot of photo's and maybe videos so I need a fair amount of memory.

Beating The Bulge Plan!

Hey my lovelies, hope you're all well. On my new year post I mentioned that I've gained so much weight and how I'm not happy like this, I said I was thinking of doing posts of my progress or journey whatever you'd like to call it on losing weight. The way I'm going to do it is do weekly posts with the foods I've eaten everyday, how I feel and if I've lost any weight, but I'm not going to reveal my actual weight size because I'm not comfortable doing so right now. I don't tell anyone not even family my weight neither do I let them see the scales when I'm on them but I haven't weighted myself in literally at least half a year, I get scared and chicken out. I've told you my clothes size which is 12-14, mainly 14 though so there's a visual of my size. I'm not sure whether I want to share a full body picture of myself either as I hate seeing myself like this but I may take one then when I've hopefully lost weight and pretty much got back to the size I'm comfortable at I'll do a post where I'll tell you my starting weight to my ending weight with pictures of before and after.

Now here's my weight loss plan!
* STOP with the takeaways. They literally are my weakness, as I live at my boyfriend's mum's house with his mum obviously, sister and his mum's partner so we think it's easier and out of the way if we get a takeaway for dinner. We don't have them for dinner every night but we have them more than enough. Maybe have one a month for a treat though.
* STOP pigging out on sweets and chocolate. You know, my boyfriend and I are snuggled in bed watching TV and we just gravitate to eating crap.
* Replace the sweets and chocolate with fruit and vegetables
* Cut down on fizzy drinks. My boyfriend and I have a 2 litre bottle of Pepsi Max everyday because it's easier than keep going downstairs refilling out cups of with water or juice.
* Drink more water
* Drink more green tea. This is what a lot of Chinese people drink because it helps with headaches to depression and also it's great for weight loss as it is believed the antioxidants catechins and caffeine speeds up metabolism. I used to drink a few cups of tea a day at the beginning and middle of the year then I stopped.
* Drink lukewarm fresh lemon water in the morning. It gets your metabolism going and work faster.
* Drinking fresh lemon water is detoxing for the body as well as good for speeding you metabolism up.
* Make my meals a smaller more sensible portion
* MOVE MORE! Because I don't move enough.
* Join the gym with my sister in law & try to go for daily walks

Katie Hopkins' documentary was a kick in the gut wake up call for me, she says eat less more move and that's going to be my motto but like EAT LESS (CRAP) MOVE MORE! Because the eat less comes across as if losing weight means starve yourself but that is no way right or healthy. As soon as you start eating properly again the weight will pile back on and maybe even more if you starve yourself. My mum did that and as soon as she started eating again even if it wasn't lots of crap she still gained a lot of weight.

I think my plan is pretty decent and easy to follow. Maybe some of you could join in with me? If you feel like it then leave comments on my diet posts of your progress, or make your own posts and link me to them or tell me on my social media's which are linked at the bottom of this post.

My Wishlist

Hey lovelies I hope you have, are having or had a good day! Pretty much every beauty blog I follow has posts of the products they have their eye on to buy in future and I have a ton I want to try out and get my hands on so I thought I'd show you what they are and if any of you have them maybe you could let me know what you think of them.

Zoeva Make-Up Brushes - I've seen so many people on YouTube and the blogsverse that use these brushes and all rave on and on about how amazing they are and the prices are very sensible. You can never have to many make-up brushes!

Real Techniques Bold Metal Make-Up Brushes - I have 7 of the original brushes and also the beauty blender sponge from Real Techniques and I love them, such amazing quality for such a cheap price. So obviously I'm very excited to get my hands on this new line as the quality is said to be much much better and there are some new brush types like the flat contour brush I'm desperate to get my claws on.

Benefit Products - I currently have the They're Real Mascara, The Porefessional Primer and Hoola Bronzer from Benefit which I absolutely love all 3 of them, so I really want to try out 2 of the boxed blushes, in particular Coralista and Hervana. And also the Gimme Brow Gel, Brow-Zings Kit and the Boi-ing Concealer.

Urban Decay Palettes - All the palettes from Urban Decay are raved about by almost every make-up lover there is and I've wanted to get my hands on the Naked 2 and Naked Basics palettes for a while. I love neutral eye shadows because they are the colors I wear the most and so many looks can be made with them.

NuMe Lumstrum Curling Wands Set - I've heard about these from everyone and their mothers and I'm in desperate need for a curling wand and what better than to get 5-in-1!

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque - I've had this hair masque before and I love it, but I haven't got round to buying it for over a year but I need this beauty back in my hair care routine.

Doc Martens - I've wanted a pair of these beauties for literally over 2 years but once again I haven't got round to buying them, instead I've been buying regular boots for £30ish to make do with but I gotta get some and I hope it will be this year.... wait it will be!

Canon EOS 600D or Canon EOS 1200D - Well it's pretty obvious why I want a DSLR camera, to take beautiful pictures for my blog. I wanted to spend £100 to £250ish for a camera which the 1200D is more the price I'd want but with the 600D the view finder is adjustable so I can flip it so I'll be able to see what I look like, if the camera's in focus and if I'm in the frame when I'm taking a photo of myself for a make-up look ect. Also many bloggers and YouTubers have got this camera and I love the quality of their pictures and videos... so I may squeeze to £360 for it we'll have to see. You'll hear about what new camera I get probably on Sunday's post which will be the 25th so watch out for that!

Posting Schedule

Hey lovelies. I hope you're well and have, are having, or had a nice day. Today I am pleased to inform you all on my blog posting schedule so you'll know when I'll be posting each week and it also gives me an aim and motivation to get planning and writing blog posts. That is a new years resolution for me as well as being organised by writing ideas for posts in my notebook as soon as I think of them so later on when I sit down to write a post I won't have brains fart as it'll be all wrote down in my notebook. Also I will be scheduling posts so on days where I have loads of ideas, time and motivation to write posts I will try and get as many done then but of course they won't be rushed and chucked together so just for the days where I don't feel up to writing and it's a posting day I'll have something wrote out for it. If I didn't have set days then there will be some weeks where I don't feel up to writing posts so I won't post at all that week and like before it could be months before I post something, which I don't want that to happen again. I love blogging and reading others blogs' so I'm going to keep this up. It is what I'm happy doing and what I've wanted to do forever but just haven't felt brave enough to do until last year.

My schedule for blog posts will be:
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm GMT/UK time and sometimes a Sunday again at 6pm.

January Playlist

Hey lovelies, I hope you have, are having or had a lovely day. I listen to a lot of music, so I thought I'd tell you some of my favorites and most played at them moment. I like to see posts of what songs people are loving also, it introduces me to songs I may have not heard or new artists and bands. It's a good way of connecting and getting to know the person behind the blog you like. I'm going to be doing a playlist post for every month and it will be out in the middle of the month as this post is the middle of January so it makes sense to make the posts all in the middle.

As you can tell I'm loving Ariana Grande at the moment, she's one of my favorite artists. The Get On Your Knees link on YouTube is pitched because of copyright reasons. Leave a comment or tell me on any of my social media what your favorite songs, artists and bands are right now.

PS. Sorry about the bad quality picture, it looks absolutely awful because the days right now are very dull and not much sunlight and I needed to get a post out for you so I had to make the best out of the picture and edit it to the max on Photoshop. Also it's such bad quality because I have no camera, never have used one for my blog photo's, I use my iPhone 5 but.... I'm getting a camera very very soon eeekkk. I can't deal with low quality no more. I want to spend for £100 - £250 on a camera so if you know of any good DSLR cameras leave suggestions in the comments below or on my social media, it would be such a big help thank you.

The best of 2014 & hello 2015

I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year, I hope 2014 treated you well and 2015 is a better year for you all.

For me 2014 started off bad but it got better, lemme tell ya it was a much better year than 2013 as I was depressed and had issues with myself and in the summer my parents had a messy break up, it was a dramatic 6 months to say the least so I'm not getting into detail and plastering all what happened for all to see but a few months into 2014 they got back together and things got back to normal.

I also started this blog up in 2014 because I love all things beauty and thought a blog would be perfect as I'm not confident enough for YouTube, I was good at blogging for a few months then I got busy with work over summer and stopped, I then tried to come back in November but stopped after a few posts, with no intention it just happened. Which this is where my news years resolution comes in, 2015 is going to be the year of my blogging, I am so determined to make a decent blog and I'd like to maybe reach 100 Bloglovin' followers and 50 Google Friend Connect followers, that would be amazing. I really am going to get at it this year, I do love blogging, reading other blogs and connecting with other bloggers, it's an amazing community.

I went to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making Of Harry Potter World in London in the summer with my cousin for her 29th birthday, yes 29 she's a massive Harry Potter fan, read all the books and seen all the movies, I'm not a huge fan but I've seen the movies. It was a lovely experience and day out, I would go back but around Halloween or Christmas because it would be decorated for those occasions.

A new family member was also welcomed, my little darling niece was born 25th September, 2014 and she is the most beautiful girl I've laid eyes on. She's so precious to me and she's played a big part in mending my parents relationship and getting the family close together. I'm not going to lie it has made me broody and I can't wait to start a family with my boyfriend.. not just yet as we need to save, save, save for our future together but I definitely want a baby within the next 2 years as I'll be 22-23 and my boyfriend will be 25-26 those ages to us both feel right to start.

And I can't forget I turned 21 on November 18th, woohoo. I didn't do nothing to crazy I went to a local Indian restaurant with my parents, younger brother and sister, my older brother, his girlfriend and my niece, my nan and my boyfriend of course. I sure do love an Indian. Then on the following Saturday I hit the clubs with my mum, my brother's girlfriend and some friends it was a good night but I couldn't get drunk no matter how much I drunk and I also had a little panic attack but my brother's girlfriend who I call my sister and is my best friend got me through it and we danced the night away.

Overall 2014 was a good year for me, it's the first time in a few years that I've actually genuinely felt happy. What I want for 2015 is to get a new job, possibly on a make-up counter it would be perfect for me. I also want to lose major weight, I've never been as big as I am which is a size 14 and before long I will be a size 16 if I keep going. As people have said to me it's because I'm in love and content, and that is true but I'm not happy with the way I look, I can hardly bare to look at myself in the mirror or have my picture taken (excluding selfies of course) If it weren't for my boyfriend then I know for a fact I'd be depressed and even worse than I was in 2013 but his support and love for me keeps me going. All I want is to be a size 10-12 because I'm going to be honest I'll never be a size 8 my body is not made to be that small and besides I like to have some curves and my boyfriend does also. ;)

I think I may track my 'diet' and weight loss journey on this blog also, let me know in the comments or my social media if you want me to do so. Links are at the bottom of my post.

Here are some pictures of my 2014 for you all.
