I DYED MY HAIR?!

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. I had my hair dyed from my hairdresser aka my lovely sister-in-law Sunday evening and I thought it would be nice to show you my new color in a blog post. The cover picture is not the actual hair color, it's been saturated on Photoshop so it's gone black. ;)

When I feel like changing my hair color it usually is a quick and random choice, like suddenly I think or I'll see a color and that's it, my head is set on that color and I'm straight onto telling my sister-in-law. It literally goes in the same pattern as neutral, pop of color, neutral, pop of color. So I'm a brunette, then I feel like going an actual color like red, purple etc. then after a while I'll go back to being a brunette.

The first picture you see is not me it's an image on Google I found that is the inspiration for my hair color, in the pictures of my hair it looks more red toned than purple but in person my hair has more purple tones than you can see on the picture and I think my hair looks very close to the picture I chose for inspiration. When the spring and summer months come I tend to change up my hair color a little more exciting than brunette, I don't intend for this to happen it's just the timing I'm like oooo I fancy a hair change haha.

I hope you liked this post. I'd love to know what you think about my drastic hair change, or if you have any questions on my hair, hair color like what was used to get this color and the process etc. feel free to leave questions in the comments below of on my social media links.

5 Places I'd Love To Travel To

Ibiza

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. The cover picture for this post is a photo I took on my crappy Blackberry when I went to Ibiza back in 2011 hence why the quality isn't so good but I thought it would be perfect for this post. So today's post is telling you my favorite top places I would love and hopefully will travel to some time in my life.

My first place I'd love to travel to is Los Angeles, like pretty much everyone so how basic am I? Haha. Everywhere looks so gorgeous, it would be amazing to go sight seeing around Hollywood, visit the beautiful beaches, go shopping and just enjoy the sites and weather.

New York is another place I dream about going to, another city in America. Gossip Girl one of the reasons why I want to visit here, once again it looks so beautiful and the shopping places look amazing.

Oops next is another city in America, and that is Florida, simply for Disney World. It looks so magical and everyone wants to go there at some point in there lives, from when their little to even when they're adults.

Australia up next, I never used to want to visit here because of all the spiders, snakes etc. They are literally my fear but the past couple years after watching Australian YouTubers and hearing about it from relatives who live there. I want to sight see around Sydney and sunbathe and chill on all the beautiful beaches, and I'm obsessed with Australian accents. *heart eye emoji*

And last but certainly not least is Paris, Now who doesn't want to go to Paris at least once in their lives? The city of love. It looks so perfect and romantic. I want to go sightseeing, shopping and put my own pad lock on Pont de l'Archevêché aka the Love Lock Bridge.

Well that's the top 5 places I'd love to visit, what are your? I hope you liked this post, it's just a little insight to get to know me, my personality. If you do a post like this then be sure to let me know in the comments below or on any of my social media links.

My Foundation Routine

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. Today's post I have for you is my foundation routine where I show you all the products I use, how I apply, how well they work and the coverage it gives me.

Firstly, is the most important for me and for everyone one I think and that is moisturize! My skin is very sensitive and dry so literally the worst skin type that can be very hard to work with especially when it comes to wearing foundation. I usually use the Simple Replenishing Moisturizer but some times I use Nivea Creme, it's a family favorite which I spoke about in this post.

Next up is primer, this makes you foundation and other face products to last longer, helps to smooth over your face and make it a nice canvas ready for your foundation, I use the Rimmel Fix And Perfect Pro Primer which I find really does help make my foundation set nicely on the skin, I also like to use the Benefit Porefessional Primer on my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead so basically my T-zone as my pores aren't very small and this helps to blur them.

Now it's time to apply my foundation which currently I am using the L'Oréal Lumi Magique Foundation, this foundation is a dream for me I love it so much and definitely is one of my favorites out of every foundation I've tried. If you want to find out more about it and what I think then I have a review on it here. I apply this foundation with my damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge aka the very popular Beauty Blender. I much prefer using this than a brush because as the sponge is dampened it helps set the foundation into the skin to make it look more skin like and it helps with covering my dry patches so they don't look obvious. Some times I do like to use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush if I can't be bothered with wetting the sponge or am travelling.

After foundation it's concealer time and once again I use 2 which are the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in fair and Maybelline Eye Eraser Concealer in light. I use the Collection one for my blemishes and the Maybelline one under my eyes as it's made specifically to conceal under eye darkness so it's going to be hydrating and won't crease. I usually like to apply these with my ring finger as it's the most softest touch finger and the warmness of your finger helps to blend them much better into the skin. To set the concealer under my eyes I like to use a banana/yellow colored powder as it does amazingly at adding more brightness, I've literally become obsessed with using it I think it does wonders. I have a couple palettes with this type of powder in which are the Sleek Corrector and Conceal Palette, Barry M Contour Kit and Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit, they're all very similar in shades, all yellow toned powder so all three do the trick!

Last step for me is not always necessary for me and that's to powder the remainder of my face I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent and the brush I use is the Real Techniques Blush Brush, as I have dry skin some times I don't need to use powder but I do like to powder after I've contoured and applied blush on my face as it blends and softens it. But my contour routine is a whole other post that I will do, so keep a look out for that in the future.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation Review

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. Today I have a review of a recent foundation I bought which is the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation costing £10.99, the shade I am is rose beige.

On the bottle it says it infuses skin with a ray of light, illuminating your complexion as if lit-from within. The radiance of your skin seems recreated, perfect coverage without masking. It results in a radiant flawless complexion that's full of life. Do I agree with what it says on the bottle? Yes I do to be honest. The foundation is a light to medium coverage, perfect for everyday use as it's not too heavy on the skin, I would say the formula is build-able to have more coverage without looking cakey. I have dry skin and many foundations cling to my dry patches so I tend to look for sheer and serum foundations or if on the bottle it says it's a dry skin formula and this foundation looks glowing, moisturizing and very skin like on my face. I think this foundation is suitable for all skin types, it gives you the right amount of illumination so it's not greasy looking. I'd definitely recommend this for everyone especially if your feeling like crap, your skin is dull and in need of glow and some coverage.

I hope you liked this post, if you try this foundation then feel free to let me know how you get on with it in the comments below or on my social media links below. Keep and eye out for a post on my base make-up routine coming soon.

Drugstore Haul

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. Today I have for you a fairly big Drugstore Haul, these products were bought on 2 occasions and as per usual I go to Boots and Superdrug with essentials or things in mind I had to buy and end uo buying more than I planned.

So first up was a re-purchase which is my trusty staple Batiste Dry Shampoo, I love this stuff especially because I try to only wash my has twice a week and this stuff keeps the grease at bay. Next I needed new deodorant and I usually go for Dove, I usually buy it when it's on offer but it wasn't so I looked at the others and noticed Garnier had brought a deodorant out and seeing as I like their products I thought I'd try them out. I also bought a new jar of coconut oil from my local health store as my other jar is almost empty.

I went into Boots specifically on this occasion for a dark nude lipstick, going for the over hyped Kylie Jenner lip look so I browsed all the lipsticks and came across the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in the shade Asia, as I love Rimmel lipsticks I had to have it. I also saw a haul from VelvetGh0st and she bought the Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick in the shade nude perfection and her description for this was literally the perfect Kylie Jenner color so of course I had to buy it, and I also wanted a pink nude shade so I went for Minimalist. Then I wanted a lip gloss because I don't really have any as I've never really cared about them but I'd thought I'd try one so I bought the L'Oréal Glam Shine Lip Gloss in 400 Juicy Rose Glow.

Next up this one was also one of the main reasons why I went into Boots which was to buy the L'oréal Lumi Magique Foundation as I've seen many reviews that made me want to try it so I had to get it, a review on this foundation will be posted on Thursday, so in 2 days so keep a look out for that. Also I'd seen so many people rave about the Maybelline Erase Eye Concealer so I wanted to try it and see what all the fuss is about. As I bought a new foundation I thought it was only right to buy a new foundation brush so I went for Real Techniques Stippling Brush as I love all the brushes I bought from this brand and I had yet to buy this one.

Next up is the Collection Eyes Uncovered Palette In Nude that I saw a few people use on YouTube and I thought it looked a nice cheap but decent everyday nude palette so I had to buy that and check it out. I thought I was very overdue with buying new nail polish so I went into Superdrug and went straight to the Barry M stand and thought I'd try out the speedy quick dry range with the shades 502 Pit Stop and 450 Lap Of Honour, I think they're the perfect pastel colors.

It has so many benefits and uses, it's a miracle oil. I've been using it for a while now mainly for my hair and skin, I love it. It literally will replace so many everyday products for you and for so much cheaper. I got this 400g jar from my local health store for only £7.99.

According to researchers the recommended daily amount of raw coconut oil for adults is 3 and 1/2 tablespoons.
Uses
Body & Face Moisturizer
Simply just use little chunks for each body part, even though the oil is a solid it will melt against your body heat when rubbing it in.

Hair Mask

You can either warm & melt the oil by rubbing it in your hands or putting it in the microwave for 10 - 30 seconds. Once melted then just slather it all over your scalp and hair then tie it up and leave it in for how long you desire. I like mine to sit on my hair for at least an hour. I did a hair mask post using coconut oil and another ingredient here. It's the perfect drink and pick me up for dehydrated and damaged hair.

Cooking With It
You can use coconut oil as a healthier substitute for butter when baking or cooking. It's commonly used as a substitute of olive oil because olive oil’s chemical structure, when heated up it can cause oxidative stress on the body, which can be an imbalance between the oxidant and antioxidant systems of the body, in favor of the oxidants. There's been research where the oxidative stress has been linked to the development of several diseases such as cardiovascular, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. Coconut oil doesn't contribute to oxidative stress, even when heated up! If you're looking for recipes that use coconut oil, the here is a great site.

I hope this post has helped you and that you like it. Coconut oil is literally the best and I will always use it.

Weekday Morning Routine

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. While I was getting ready the other morning I was thinking maybe I could do a post on how my morning routine goes. It by no means always goes like this every single morning, I usually do this on mornings where I don't have work or have to rush out... basically it's my Monday morning routine.
I wake up with my boyfriend at about 5.30 - 5.45am, but we don't get up we just lay in bed cuddling and I usually have to tickle his arms, belly or back haha, bless him he wouldn't like me telling his secret love of tickles. Then at 6am he has to get up and get ready for work, so while he's getting washed and dressed I'll go put his ready made lunch into his bag and make him a drink for the day. He leaves at around 6.20am so I'll give him a kiss, cuddle and tell him I love him, we tell each other all the time. :) (Sorry for the mushy gooshy parts) Then I'll jump right back into bed, check my social media on my phone for about 15 minutes and then I'll go back to sleep.

I usually wake up properly around 9 - 10am, laying starfish over my boyfriend and I's bed. First I'll check my phone and have a nose on that until I feel ready to kick start my day. On Monday's I like to put a hair mask in my hair, so it's usually my pamper morning of the week. So I'll smother coconut all over my hair from my scalp to the very ends and then tie it up to sit for however long I desire. After the coconut oil is in my hair, I'll tidy my room up and make the bed, then gather any plates, cups, cutlery etc. and take them downstairs to the kitchen and wash them all up. Once that's done I'll fill my water bottle up with cold fresh water to wake me up and hydrate me and maybe brew a cup of tea of some sort then for breakfast I'll either have some fruit, or low fat Philadelphia cheese on toast, or cereal. I'll take them upstairs back in to my room to eat and drink and put Netflix on to watch Pretty Little Liars or Gossip Girl at the moment or I'll watch Sky TV usually a cookery program such as Masterchef and programs like that or see if the Kardashians' are on. While I'm watching that I some times go on my laptop and check YouTube and my favorite blogs out. When I've eaten my breakfast and drunk my  water I'll go wash whatever I've used up. I hate leaving stuff in the kitchen sink to fester, I have to wash them up straight away. Then once it's been about and hour or 2 after I put the coconut oil in my hair, by now it's around 11 to half past I'll run a bath and get in it to wash my hair and body. After my bath which usually lasts around half hour thanks to the coconut oil which takes a little more time to get fully out my hair than when I just regularly wash my hair. I'll get dried and then dressed and do my necessary hair care, apply my make-up and I'm set for the day!

I hope you liked this post, it's not as entertaining as a YouTube video of morning routines but I'm a blogger not a YouTuber so I write it in a post. If you want to see a post on my bath routine and my hair routine in depth with all the products I use then feel free to leave a comment on this post or on my social media.

Dress Link Haul & Review

(Image credit to Google Images and DressLink.com)

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. For today's post I have a review of the site Dress Link, I discovered this site from watching a YouTube video which I can't remember what one is was now.

As I am a make-up lover, I had a little collection of make-up brushes and I was in need of more to ass to my collection. As on my wishlist I posted a while back I have my eye on the Zoeva brushes but while I saved for them I was on the look out for a cheap collection which is when I came across this very cheap priced site. I looked up more reviews of this on YouTube to make sure it was safe and trusted which it was so away I ordered.

I made my order on March 19th and had received it by March 24th, I was so shocked at how quick the delivery was as it was all the way from china and I was informed that delivery was from 5 to 20 days so I didn't expect it for a least 10 days. I got a 32 Make-Up Brush Set costing £6.55 20 Make-Up Brush Set costing £3.60, 10 Make-Up Brush Set costing £4.91 and a 15 Cream Concealer Palette costing £2.21 so as a total it come to £17.34, I paid more for the delivery than I did for the products as delivery was £20.89. I was informed once I made the order that my order may be packaged in several packages but they had all been in the same package.

The quality of brushes are very good considering the cheap prices they are, they're soft and feel nice to use on the face. They do have a smell to them like a factory and synthetic smell but I don't find it a bother, they can easily be washed to take the smell away. I would definitely buy from Dress Link again as my first experience was better than I'd expected which made me very impressed as reviews I'd seen online we're all very mixed, but from my experience I would recommend the site and the products as being so cheap in price it's definitely worth it, it's all whether you'd pay for the delivery as that isn't so cheap.
